Relationship of some metabolic components in follicular fluid with follicular size and oocyte diameter in local ewes ovaries (Ovis aries)

This study aimed to determine the relationship of some metabolic constituents in follicular fluid (FF) with size (FZ) and oocyte diameter (OD) local ewes ovaries (Ovis aries), from September 2021 February 2022 Laboratories Animal Production Department, Al-Musaib Technical College. Two hundred non-pregnant genital organs were collected abattoirs Babylon province carried laboratory within two hours. The (n=400) removed follicles counted their FZ measured, classified into three-categories conferring size, small:(<3 mm), medium: (3-5 Large :(>5 mm) follicles. FF aspirated all for purpose collecting oocytes, counting them measuring diameters. Metabolic components like glucose, total cholesterol, protein triglycerides measured. results current showed that a significant increasing (p< 0.05) average level glucose while there was decreasing (p<0.05) an increase . Moreover, observed increased FZ. outcomes also exhibited direct positive, highly (p<0.01) correlation coefficient between cholesterol OD, whereas negative, inverse FS OD. We conclude OD FZ, ascending or descending as changes.
